The debate held at the Casa Arabe in Madrid on the challenges faced by progressist ideas

Pascal Lamy, President emeritus of the Jacques Delors Institute and former director general of the WTO, Josep Borrell, Spanish minister of foreign affairs and Felipe Gonzalez, former President of the Spanish government, debated in the Casa Arabe de Madrid. This encounter, co-organised by the Fundacion Felipe Gonzalez and the Fundación Europea para los Estudios Progresistas, concerned the need to propose a progressist global agenda founded on tackling climate issues, reducing socio-economical inequalities and upholding Human Rights.
